Founder owner Jayne Davies has been catering for more than 30 years, cutting her teeth at the feet of the likes of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. Her most noted achievements abroad were catering for Prince William’s 21st birthday party and a three year spell catering for the North Sea Jazz Festival. Back in Cape Town, she was official caterer for the Stormers Rugby Team and the Newlands Stadium before discovering the Eastern Cape and choosing to escape city life, settling in Jeffreys Bay in Noticing that she could not get a cup of real barista made coffee, a loaf of artisan made bread or an interesting vegetarian meal led to the opening ofInfood. The 3 rd store in the Infood trilogy is J Bay Bru-Co at 10 da Gama Road, a family restaurant with kiddies play area, serving wood fired pizzas, craft beers and more. Everything is done with conscious thought, Jayne’s aim is to keep the Infood stables carbon footprint to an absolute minimum without compromising her exacting standards. Extra-mile service and consistently high quality are delivered by a well-trained team of skilled staff using original recipes refined and perfected over time. We are environmentally friendly with organically inspired taste sensations, our claim to fame is our artisan bakery and award winning coffee and baristas. Our pastry, made by hand, takes days to make using fresh farm butter, rolling and folding until we have as many as 60 layers, resulting in light, flaky baked sweet and savoury pastries. Surfers from all over the world make an InFood pie part of their annual pilgrimage to Jeffreys Bay.
